Technology Overview:
Plug-and-Play Containerized Plant for Premium Hardwood BBQ Pellets  |  150–200 kg/h

The MPU25 is a complete, containerized pelleting plant on a single skid, purpose-built to convert dry hardwood sawdust into premium barbecue pellets for the North American market at a capacity of 150–200 kg/h. The line integrates a receiving hopper, a pelletizer, a pellet cooler & sieve, a dust collection system and a carton packing system into one factory-built module.

Every component is pre-installed, pre-wired and fully commissioned at SIMEC’s factory before shipment. The unit arrives ready to run: lift it into position under a shed or canopy, connect power and sawdust feed, and production begins. No civil construction, no multi-vendor installation, no on-site commissioning risk.

Key Advantages:
1. Plug-and-play, factory-commissioned delivery. All equipment is mounted, cabled to the control cabinet and test-run at SIMEC before shipment. You receive a finished, verified production line rather than a collection of separate machines. Installation that would otherwise take weeks is reduced to a single day on site.
2. Single-lift, truly mobile. The entire line is integrated on one rigid steel skid and can be hoisted and relocated as a complete set by forklift or crane. Move it between yards, sawmills or feedstock sources without dismantling or reinstalling.
3. Outdoor-ready and fully protected. All moving parts and electrical components are enclosed within the steel structure and shielded with anti-corrosion covers, enabling reliable outdoor operation under a simple shed or canopy. An operator safety platform is included as standard.
4. Engineered for stable, continuous production. The buffer hopper, automatic feeding and process layout are designed together to guarantee stable material flow and consistent pellet quality, while protecting the pelletizer from overloading.
5. AI-powered intelligent control. A networked, AI-enabled control system delivers a real-time graphical status screen, automatic feeding, automatic overload protection and complete interlock-and-alarm logic,  with optional remote monitoring, data logging and operator management.
6. Clean, safe operation. An integrated dust collection system captures dust at source, keeping the workplace clean, reducing material loss and meeting the housekeeping standards expected by premium BBQ-pellet brands.
7. Built to your requirements. Every MPU-series unit can be customized in capacity, layout, power supply, feedstock handling, packaging format and automation level to match your product specification and site conditions.

Technical Parameters:
Item Value
Model MPU25
Capacity 150–200 kg/h of hardwood barbecue pellets
Installed power 32 kW
Shipping dimensions (L×W×H) 6000 × 2150 × 2500 mm

Process Flow & System Configuration:
1. Receiving hopper & feeding auger. Receives dry sawdust from the dryer and feeds the pelletizer automatically. The hopper buffers 2–3 hours of dry sawdust for steady, uninterrupted operation.
2. Pelletizer. Produces 150–200 kg/h of hardwood barbecue pellets at 6 mm diameter.
3. Pellet cooler & sieve. Cools freshly pressed pellets and screens out fines and oversize material, delivering a uniform, market-ready product.
4. Dust collection system. Bag-based negative extraction captures dust through the line and keeps the workplace clean.
5. Filling, weighing & roller conveyor system. A three-speed feed inlet (high / medium / low) fills cartons on the weighing platform. Once fully loaded, each carton is pushed onto the adjacent unpowered roller conveyor, where it is sealed with adhesive tape.

AI-Powered Process Control System:
MPU25 is equipped with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered, internet-connected process control system.
Standard features
1. Graphical simulation screen displaying the real-time running status of every electrical component.
2. Automatic material feeding.
3. Automatic overload protection.
4. Equipment interlock protection and alarm system.
5. Control cabinet mounted, wired to all electric motors and tested in SIMEC’s workshop before delivery.
Optional features
1. Remote monitoring and control module.
2. Comprehensive data logging system.
3. Operator management system.
