Plastic Pyrolysis Research Setup Delivery to Nigeria
Built to the client’s precise specifications, the apparatus features extensive customizations: reactor volume, footprint, and all accessory devices were optimized to align with feedstock characteristics, research goals, precision requirements, and cost-control targets. Additionally, all electrical components integrated into the apparatus fully comply with Nigeria’s local electrical codes and standards.
Complete setup includes heating system, pyrolysis reactor, atmosphere adjustment system, N2 purge control unit, gas and liquid separation system, gas condensation & purification system, process monitoring system, operation platform, control cabinet, data logging module, liquid pyrolysis assistance device, etc.

1. Feedstock: biomass, waste plastic and waste oil.
2. Reactor volume: 250 ml.
3. Reaction temperature: ≥ 800 °C.
4. Maximum allowable reactor pressure: 7 MPa.
5. Product type: biochar, carbon black, bio-oil and engineered synthetic gases. Sampling interfaces are available for all the solid-phase, liquid-phase, and gas-phase products.
6. Ancillary equipment: fitted with a condenser to separate condensable liquids from non-condensable gases, equipped with nitrogen-purge.
7. Operating modes: semi-batch and batch:
i. In semi-batch mode, evolved vapors and pyro-gas are swept out by a nitrogen flow and sent to the condenser for separation.
ii. In batch mode, the system must be capable of holding the set pressure for up to two hours.
8. Both temperatures and pressure can be monitored during the run. Data logger can generate analysis curves. After the reaction, solid, liquid, and gaseous products can be collected separately for off-line analysis.
The pyrolysis equipment was shipped to Nigeria in September 2025. In total one plywood case.
