In November 2025, a set of dual-rotor forage crusher was delivered to Córdoba, Argentina. With its advanced dual-rotor design, this machine stands out as the world's largest and highest in processing capacity compared to all similar models on the market today.

Our client is a large local agribusiness group that operates livestock farms and feed mills. This forage crusher will be installed for their alfalfa pellet project. The raw materials for alfalfa pellet production are alfalfa bales, with a bale diameter of 1.8-2 meters, a height of 1.5-1.8 meters, and alfalfa stem length of approximately 20 centimeters.

The SIMEC alfalfa bale crusher employs a horizontal feeding system, and is designed as a coarse crushing unit for large-scale treatment of various forage bales, such as alfalfa, clover, ryegrass, straw and other forage grass bales. A grab loader can grab entire bales and feed them directly into the horizontal force feeder. The material feed rate into the crusher is automatically controlled to ensure stable processing.

The forage crusher has a full-width side feeding port (1880 mm in width) that can accommodate large forage bales up to 1800 mm in diameter. This design significantly ensures efficient material intake. The crushing rotors undergo high-precision balance calibration, with each rotor having a diameter of 1100 millimeters.
