SIMEC Ring Die for PM30 Wood Pellet Mill
In August, 2022. SIMEC shipped a ring die for a test running on Andritz PM30 pellet mill mounted in a wood pellet plant in the USA. The pellet line produces high-quality pellets from sustainably sourced woody fiber. It is a large ring die with an inner diameter of 850 mm. It was tailored according to the confirmed specific parameters: effective working width, compression ratio, die hole diameter, thickness, etc.
In September, 2022. Client mounted SIMEC ring die on one of their existing pellet mills and tested for the performance and service life. The client expected the ring die could service for over 1500 hours. Finally, the ring die ran for 2150 hours without any issue on client’s pellet mill. The long duration and perfect performance of SIMEC ring die satisfied client and earned good reputation.
‘’We'll order 20 pieces of ring dies for our spare parts inventory,” said the client.
