Ring Die for SPM520S Wood Pellet Mill in Indonesia

A set of new ring die for SIMEC SPM520S wood pellet mill was delivered to Central Java, Indonesia in early September, 2020. The ring die was customized for producing φ8 mm mixed hardwood pellets.

The high-quality ring die was produced in SIMEC advanced ring die machining center. The production of each die begins with a roll forging blank made of high-quality alloy stainless steel. The advanced computer-controlled deep drilling machine produces sprues with a very smooth surface and accurate size so that all holes wear evenly.
The die is of outstanding hardness and wear-resistance, as it has been through hardening and tempering in SIMEC state-of-art vacuum oven.

SIMEC SPM520S wood pellet mill has been satisfactorily energized for more than two years in this project, and steadily fixed a 1.7 TPH throughput.
